The purpose of this assignment is to assess the technical and economic viability of

different options for direct uses of geothermal energy in Turkey, including district heating and cooling. This includes both projects where low to medium temperature resources are utilized directly and also projects were residual heat in geothermal brines at geothermal power plants is used.
Tasks are expected to include:
– Country-wide, high-level assessment of direct use potential
– Preparation of pre-feasibility studies for selected applications
– Assessment of interest of municipalities and private developers
– Estimation of investment needs to allow the market to grow to its potential
– Barrier assessment
– Preparation of action plan/roadmap for the promotion of direct uses of geothermal resources
as well as scope out opportunities for impactful private sector interventions structured around circular supply chain for plastics. The assessment will specifically focus on the food & beverage and textile/garment value chains and associated packaging activities in Nigeria. It will look into overall market size for applicable types of plastics, current practices for the use of plastics material, as well as recycling, reuse and disposal practices. The study will scope out value chain players and opportunities to increase the circularity linkages, including through offset of the virgin raw materials.

achievement of the aforementioned pupils relative to the learning outcomes prescribed in the primary curriculum. Other objectives were: to investigate differences in pupil achievement by key system, school and pupil factors {e.g., division, district, school type, locality (urban v. rural), and gender}; to examine the relationships between achievement and factors such as school size, class size, pupil-teacher ratio, attendance rate, teachers’ qualifications and training, training of school managers, and frequency of inspection; and to draw implications for improvements in teaching and learning through enhanced policy actions, planning and management, and teacher education. It is expected that relevant Government of Bangladesh (GoB) line agencies will utilize the findings and recommendations in order to inform educational planning of sub-components such as teacher professional development and curriculum reform.
The activity would include: (i) review of existing policies and solar resources, and experience with rooftop solar PV programs globally; (ii) market assessments in the public, commercial and residential building markets; (iii) prefeasibility studies in the viable markets; and (iv) development of a roadmap, with recommendations on the policy, regulatory, institutional, programming and incentives needed to realize these markets.
