The World Bank has a new, modern and business-friendly Procurement Framework. This 
modernized approach means greater focus on value for money, more ways bidders to differentiate bids, and more opportunities for dialogue and discussion.
World Bank procurement staff are based in 72 countries to support borrowers throughout the procurement process. Staff work with governments to achieve the highest bidding and contract management standards to get the best development result.

The World Bank is looking for a full time local consultant for Renewable Energy Program 
implemented jointly with Rural Energy Agency in Tanzania. The consultant is expected to provide technical and organizational support for implementation of the Program, including field visits to project sites, gathering information and managing database, search for new projects, supporting projects with fulfillment of Clean Development Mechanism requirements on monitoring and reporting.

Mandatory for all new lending operations after July 1, 2016, the new Framework emphasizes choice, quality, and greater value for public spending, while enabling adaptation to country contexts.

Indonesia is a partner country in the Global Partnership program (GPP) for Wealth 
Accounting and Valuation of Ecosystems (WAVES). The WAVES GPP promotes implementation of natural capital accounting (NCA) following UN Statistical Division (UNSD)s 2012 Standard for System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA 2012). Indonesia WAVES Program development objective is to strengthen the capacity of Government of Indonesia to regularly and systematically (i) implement NCA, and (ii) use the developed accounts in policy analysis in natural assets utilization and development planning. WAVES Program will provide technical assistance support to achieve the programs intermediate outcomes and increase capacity to compile, understand, and use NCA to inform development planning.

The aim of the CAAP Project is to improve (a) access to finance and (b) access to markets for producers in 2 to 4 agricultural supply chains/products in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The World Bank Research team will take on the task of programming the survey, but significant input will be expected from the firm in testing, and perfecting the instrument. The Government of Guinea-Bissau (GoGB)s Strategy Document flags the enormous needs for infrastructure investments that the country is facing and confirms the importance of PPP to advance specific projects and overall economic growth. In this context, the GoGB requested technical assistance from WBG to foster the agenda of PPPs in the country. This component of the “Haiti DTIS implementation project” will produce a Feasibility Study for Collection and Treatment Centers or Logistic Platform suitable for perishables crops located in an agribusiness industrial park promoted by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
