Consultant firms will be required to:
a) complete, under leadership of the World bank Task Team Leader, 12 Optima HIV modelling studies using both the allocative efficiency and cascade modelling approaches
b) Support the World Bank and country team in disseminating results of country analyses through academic publication, policy briefs and in-country dialogues
c) Follow up to assess actual changes in allocations
d) Undertake capacity building in Optima HIV

Jointly, these case studies will contribute economic, health impact and epidemiological evidence to the overarching question of improving the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of HIV responses in these countries and building the global evidence base for better allocative efficiency.

The objectives of this assignment are to: i) carry out a Landslide Vulnerability Assessment; ii) identify the policy, legal and institutional constraints in resettlement of vulnerable people and recommend improvements; iii) develop operational procedures and manuals for efficient planning and execution of a national program for landslide risk mitigation including resettlement of people living in high risk areas; and iv) based on the above outcomes, develop a time bound, implementable Community Landslides Risk Mitigation Action Plan.The Government intends to develop an investment proposal for landslides risk mitigation and seek funds from donors to support the program. A secondary objective of this assignment is to produce data, knowledge, and materials required for preparing of such proposal.

IFC through its Advisory Services activities is working in PNG to improve the income of the lead firm linked small holder farmers by improving farmer access to technology, markets, finance and information.

IFC will work with a distributor(the Client)who is a new entrant to the fresh produce supply chain. Working with the client to build its capacity in fresh produce supply is envisaged to improve opportunities for farmers, particularly women farmers in the highlands to access markets in Port Moresby through the deployment of extension training, improved access to inputs and access to information. IFC work with the client to build its internal fresh produce supply chain and logistics capacity and link the farmers to markets in Port Moresby.
