Assess the existing policy and institutional framework and evaluate the efficiency and efficacy as well as the interaction of policies, institutions and regulations related to commercial forest plantations in Colombia. Identify the main gaps and difficulties in operation/implementation/efficiency and make concrete recommendations duly supported in order to promote the development of commercial reforestation in the country in the short, medium and long term.

The main objective of this Research Activities on Long Term Monitoring, Research and Analysis of Bangladesh Coastal Zone (Sustainable Polders adapted to Coastal Dynamics) is to improve and manage the polders successfully in the coming decades.
The indicative price of this contract is US$ 8 million including, interalia, the cost of research equipment and training.
Many of the World Bank financed Projects 
are using e-procurement systems, which are required to be assessed by the Bank using MDB guidelines. Additionally, some analytical work (like e-procurement spend analysis and impact assessment) is also conducted by the Bank team. Another emerging area is e-reverse auction.

As part of E&RE program, we require the services of a Senior Solar
Energy Specialist on a Short Term Consultancy (STC) basis to provide technical advice to E&RE.
Responsibilities:
– Provide support to E&RE on the implementation of solar projects on as needed basis; technical support includes: due diligence solar resource assessment, technology selection, PV plant design review and energy yield estimation.
