The objective of the assignment is to develop training material to support and guide Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs) involved in CAMP4ASBs Regional Climate Investment Facility. The training will focus on raising awareness on climate change challenges and climate-smart solutions primarily in the agriculture sector as well as on the nascent opportunities for developing green financing market.

The WBG is currently carrying out a Global Comparative Study of the Legal and Institutional Frameworks for Dam Safety (P156243). The aim is to better understand the legal, regulatory and institutional frameworks to manage and assure safety of communities downstream of dams in various global country contexts. A Global Coordinating Consultant has been appointed under the parent project and is facilitating the compilation of the global case studies based on a pro forma template.
Statistics Netherlands (CBS) and World Bank Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the desire to carry out activities 
conducive to helping developing countries improve their statistical systems for collecting, processing and disseminating quality and timely data for evidence-based policymaking in order to achieve their national development goals as strive towards the Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs).

The objective of this Project is to report on best practices to help developing countries leverage and apply technically and financially-viable, tested and proven ICT-enabled solutions for early warning systems (EWS) and emergency operation centers (EOC) for disaster risk management (e.g., earthquakes, landslides, drought, floods, tropical cyclones, volcanic eruptions). As an initial phase, this project will focus on ICT solutions used by infrastructure operators (i.e., river management and hydropower dams, roads, railways) and national and local governments for EWS and EOC

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group (WBG), pursues its mission of reducing poverty and improving peoples lives by promoting private sector development through investment and advisory services.
The IFC wishes to publish an Expression of Interest (EoI) to contract a firm (locally based in Rwanda) to design and implement a cooperative business management capacity building program among cooperatives in Rwanda working with major off taker in the Maize and Soy subsector of Rwanda The program will initially cover 8 maize (and soy bean) growers cooperatives in Eastern province for at least two (2) years.
