The specific objectives of the consultancy are to (i) prepare a curriculum and related training materials necessary to deliver the Disaster Risk Management and Business Continuity capacity building program; (ii) validate the capacity of the participating Hubs to deliver the Disaster Risk Management and Business Continuity capacity building program (iii)Train the Trainers in the hubs of likely three countries including Serbia, Kosovo and possibly Bosnia & Herzegovina as well as other countries in the region according to demand (iv) oversee the quality of development and delivery of the Risk Program by the Hubs; and (v) ensure lessons learned and good practices developed during the activity are incorporated in subsequent programs.

Executive summary
RVO and IUCN NL organized together with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on 28 October a one-day event in The Hague in the framework of the World Bank Group-Netherlands strategic partnership ‘Food for All’. The event convened more than 80 professionals in the private sector, knowledge institutions, NGOs and policy makers engaged in agribusiness in developing countries.
Togolese families often place talismans, thought to contain magical or spiritual properties, outside their homes facing the Atlantic Ocean in hopes of 
protecting their dwellings from encroaching tides.
Unfortunately, dozens of villages have been devoured since the mid-1990s, leaving behind shells of houses, livelihoods and memories in the wake of a coast receding as much as 5-10 meters per year. When expatriates return to Togo’s coast to visit their childhood homes, they are astonished to see that communities have literally washed out to sea.

The selected firm will be expected to conduct surveys for 1,100-1,250 households on the list provided by DIME, which are located in 100 communities across 12 counties in Liberia. The survey will be collected electronically on tablets using a questionnaire designed by DIME. Survey respondents have been pre-selected; respondents last known location (as of December 2016) will be supplied to the selected firm.

Albania is in the process of establishing a Power Exchange. This is an important step for the future operation of the power sector in Albania and in line with the international obligations of the country vis-à-vis the Energy Community, and the recent MoU signed as part of the WB6 process. Creating a Day-Ahead Market is the natural starting point for liberalizing the power sector as this will allow for the regional integration with neighboring countries through market coupling. An organized day-ahead market remains however incomplete, without also the co-existence of a Balancing Market.
This project consists of all the technical, regulatory and legal support to develop, establish and operationalize a working Balancing Market for Albania. This is a very concise assignment taking into account the target dates: by 1 October 2017 to have the starting of the Dry-run phase and by 1 January 2018 the go live and initiation of commercial operation of the Balancing Market.

ently, it was among Indian states with the lowest rates of toilet coverage. With a difficult terrain, scarce water, and low levels of literacy, the slow pace of progress was not surprising.
Since 2011, that has changed. As shown in Figure 1, the proportion of people with access to a toilet has more than trebled – from under 20 percent to nearly 68 percent. Of 9,892 Gram Panchayats, the local level of government in India, almost a third – 3,545 – has been declared free of open defecation. That includes all Gram Panchayats in five of the state’s 33 districts, with more set to follow. What has gone right?

The assignment is to formulate a sustainable financial strategy for Ulaanbaatars public transport sector and to carry out related studies. The consultants work will consist of four parts: (1) Diagnosis of the public transport sector in UB; (2) Sustainable Financial Strategy for Ulaanbaatars public transport sector; (3) Recommendations for the Financial Sustainability of Ulaanbaatars public transport sector and roadmap for the implementation; and (4) Workshops and trainings. Travel to Ulaanbaatar and face-to-face discussions with relevant city officials and staff are expected.
