The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) launched the Play Challenge, an open call 
to identify educational video games, platforms or digital products that use gamification to develop, measure or certify 21st century skills.

The 15 finalists will be considered by the IDB as a solution within the 21st century skills regional project, with possibilities to be implemented in the region. The IDB Group will evaluate the capacity of the proposing entities to implement their innovative models. Furthermore, the solutions will be analyzed to obtain evidence of their effectiveness and viability. In addition, regardless of their financing, they will become part of the IDB`s network of global innovators working in the region to exchange knowledge, experiences, best practices, and plenty of opportunities to participate in regional networking events. Finally, the winning solution will receive $ 10.000 USD.
