The newsletter ‘Energy for Development ‘headlines with why the Business Opportunities Fair (BOF) with a focus on climate-smart energy was a success for Dutch company BladeRunner Energy. The BOF was co-hosted by the World Bank Group Liaison officers took place in Washington, D.C. | October 29-31. BladeRunner did not have any previous experience with the World Bank Group or any other IFI before having attended this event, which had over 160 participants from around the world. At the end of the 2.5-day program BladeRunner Energy CEO Paul Vosbeek left with a stack of business cards, new potential investors/partners and a comprehensive plan on how to approach not only the World Bank Group but also other IFIs.
