IFC is seeking to introduce an IT based system in an agribusiness project and help an IFC client strengthen their traceability system from the smallholder plot where the product is grown to the final consumer of the product, their organic certification processes, agricultural planning and their interaction with the smallholder farmers in general. IFC intends to contract a Consulting Firm (the Consultant) who will establish a technology-enabled system for automating the technology requirements of the IFC client. The required solution will be a mobile- and web-based system that incorporates the intended functionalities.

The Consultant will work under supervision by the World Bank task team and in close collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) This framework/methodology will be applied to two case study islands in Malaysia, in close consultation with KASA, but it will also be applicable to islands outside of Malaysia, such as in other countries in Southeast Asia or the Pacific.

The objective is to provide professional expertise to develop a comprehensive urban resilience plan for the select coastal cities in Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, which aims to,

2.Help urban practitioners better understand the integration of green with existing grey infrastructure and contextually inform cities planning strategies; and
3.Forge an urban vision to identify infrastructure need and investment opportunities for the cities in the selected coastal areas.
Scope of Work: As part of the EU-GFDRR/WB Regional Resilience Program for LAC, the project will focus on carrying out diagnostic work related to urban resilience in selected coastal cities in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
