Smart Cities MoU between The Institute for Future of Living and World Bank

The Institute for Future of Living (previously GSC3) signed a partnership agreement with the World Bank in India on May 24, 2018. The goal of this partnership is to create a strong partnership to support global Smart City development in conjunction with implementing the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The agreement will become activated in the coming months in close collaboration with Dutch businesses and government.

Vietnam, World Bank and the Netherlands to cooperate on food safety

Attached a picture of Ousmane Dione and Nathan together with the Prime Ministers Phuc of Vietnam and Rutte of the Netherlands this Monday at the Catshuis (local equivalent of the White House) in The Hague, signing a trilateral MoU regarding collaboration on food safety. A spin-off under the WBG-NL Food for All Partnership. Great work by the Country Office and the Dutch Embassy Hanoi.

Statistics Netherlands (CBS) starts unique initiative for Big Data research

cbsWith the launch of a Center for Big Data Statistics (CBDS), CBS is initiating cooperation of an unprecedented scale in the field of Big Data. The CBDS involves national and international parties from government, the business world, science and education all
working together in the area of Big Data technology and methodology for the production of official statistics. The CBDS is launched officially on 27 September 2016.
