The Project aims to support the Moldova National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) to shift to the risk based inspections system, develop clear risk criteria, inspection checklists, sound methodology and procedures for planning and performing inspections, including reactive inspections, and taking enforcement decisions – as introducing risk based inspections and risk-proportionate enforcement is one of the critical steps in developing a modern, performance based inspection system.
