The objective is to enhance the capacity of key sector stakeholders BiH in SWM, through the following activities: (i) Develop and deliver a comprehensive capacity building program that targets the entire vertical chain of stakeholders; (ii) provide technical assistance to FMET in the Federation, MPPCE in RS, Brcko District, MOFTER at the BiH level; (iii) organize study tours to well operated landfills, waste collection companies, MRF in the EU and BiH; (iv) facilitate FIDIC trainings at a specialized training facility.

The key stakeholders, subject to capacity building under these TOR, include BiH municipalities, waste collectors, landfill operators, association of municipalities, statistical organizations like the state agency and EPF/EPEEF, SWM departments at cantons and ministries including MOFTER, and other participants to be determined in the design stage.

Duration of Contract and Level of Effort:
The contract is estimated to be accomplished within 12-15 months from contract signing. The estimated level of effort will be provided at RfP stage.
