Government of Madhya Pradesh (GoMP) in partnership with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Government of India, is keen to setup a 750 MW PV solar park in the Rewa District of Madhya Pradesh through private sector participation. This includes developing the infrastructure facilities of the solar park and subsequently selecting the private sector developer(s) to develop and operate the solar PV project(s) in the solar park.

IFC has been invited by GoMP (the “Client”) to provide lead transaction advisory services to assist in structuring the project for implementation under PPP mode.

To assist with this project, IFC is hiring Technical Consultants for conducting technical due diligence broadly comprising the following:

1- Preparation of a detailed project report for the development and operation of solar parks infrastructure facilities;
2- Site assessment for determining the suitability of the different types of PV technologies and assessment of the sites power generation potential ;
3- Estimation of the capital and operating costs for the development and operation of solar PV project(s), of the appropriate technology, within in the solar park;
4- Develop the technical schedules by defining the performance standards for installation, operation and maintenance of solar PV project(s) by selected private sector developer(s);
5- Facilitate domestic and international investor road shows for the project;
6- Provide capacity building support on technical and contract management aspects to the Client officials;
7- The consultant will be expected to liaise with central and stage government authorities, agencies and other entities to get the necessary data to carry out the assignment.
