We are excited to bring you the June 2018 edition of the NL4WorldBank newsletter, A Sustainable Future which was published the on the 7th of June.
In this edition we feature a story about the Institute for Future of Living which signed an MoU with the World Bank India. The goal of this partnership is to create a strong partnership to support global Smart City development in conjunction with implementing the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
Next week the World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (YPP) will start accepting applications. It is a unique opportunity for younger talent who have both a passion for international development and the leadership potential to grow in fascinating top technical and managerial roles in the World Bank Group (WBG). One of these young talents is Dutch National Brenden Jongman who work for the Disaster Risk Management group. He took the time to answer a couple of questions about the YP program and his experience working for the World Bank.
The World Bank Group shares a lot of useful and pertinent studies but one that peaked our interest is the 2018 Atlas of Sustainable Development Goals: an all-new visual guide to data and development.
