Over the next 20 years, we will build more infrastructure than the last 2,000 – locking in either risk or resilience for future generations. With that in mind, this event will try to answer three pressing questions: What role does quality infrastructure have in creating resilient communities, and can we build cities that eliminate climate and disaster risks? What innovative nature-based solutions can be leveraged by developing countries to boost resilience for vulnerable populations? And in regions likely to continue facing significant impacts from extreme weather, what can be done when building resilience fails?
