The objectives of the competition assessment of the post-production distribution chain (including acquisition, warehousing, transportation and export segments) of wheat and sunflower seed are to: (i) assess the competition status and identify key barriers to competition in these segments of the chain; (ii) assess the impact of barriers to competition on farmers and private sector investments; (iii) propose remedy solutions to the Competition Council and the Government of Moldova.
